How it works

  1. 1. Create your passport

    Sign up with your email or Google account. It takes less than a minute and works right in your phone's browser — no app store required.

  2. 2. Visit a participating spot

    Look for the Green Passport QR sign at any participating business, event, or outdoor area around Boone.

  3. 3. Scan to collect a stamp

    Open your phone's camera (or the Scan button in your passport) and scan the sign. Your digital passport updates instantly.

  4. 4. Finish and get notified

    Once you've collected every stamp in a category — or your whole passport — you'll get a redeemable code to claim a reward.

  5. 5. Add it to your home screen

    From your phone's browser menu, choose "Add to Home Screen" to use Green Passport like any other app, without visiting an app store.

Who we are

The Student Sustainable Business Association (SSBA) is a club at Appalachian State University dedicated to spreading knowledge and resources about integrating sustainability into businesses, careers, and communities. As we progress in our studies to start our own careers in sustainable business, we hope to make an impact in our community, in our home, in the Boone High Country, with this Green Passport.
